About Us

Benson’s Tree Surgery Ltd was established as a Limited Company in 2018 by Craig Benson, who’s been working within the tree surgery industry since 2001, when he studied tree surgery at SRUC’s Barony and began to learn his trade.

Since those early days, Craig has built a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning three decades.

Benson’s Tree Surgery currently operates within the Central Belt of Scotland and travel further afield when required, working with a team of fully trained, highly skilled tree surgeons and ground staff.

Our work involves working with both private and commercial clients covering a variety of Arboriculture works, as well as being responsible for grounds maintenance for our many clients across the city.

It is our aim to use our knowledge and experience to advise our clients and manage our sites in a way we can potentially preserve existing trees and to plant many more for future generations to enjoy.

We have a clear focus on the care of trees and the conservation of the ecology across our City, and Benson’s Tree Surgery is committed to providing efficient and responsible tree services.

The Process

Our Progress

Craig has worked for the top tree companies in Scotland and in a wide variety of sectors from powerlines to railways, forestry to planting as well as urban tree works. His goal is to have Benson’s Tree Surgery as one of the top tree surgery companies in Scotland within the next couple of years using his twenty three years of experience and fresh innovative ideas.

In this current climate, global warming is a very real concern so his aim is to help educate the community with his knowledge and always do our best to keep the trees we have whilst planting many more for future generations to enjoy.

It’s not too late for us all to work together and make things better for us all for years to come.
